When it comes to engaging with a supplier, you have a choice.
ü We focus on customer value; not just sales. For some suppliers, getting a sale transaction is the end goal. We don’t see it that way. When you invest in new equipment or technologies, you want to get a return on your investment; you want to see real results in terms of more engaging learning for your students. There is no point spending money on new equipment or technologies if what you buy ends up being a white elephant, because teaching staff do not know how to use it effectively. Unfortunately, this is a common scenario. When you do business with us, our goal is to ensure that teaching staff are skilled in using new equipment and technologies, so that what you have purchased is used effectively and you get real value from your investment. For many of the products we supply, we provide professional development; for example, if you purchase a Bee Bot Bundle from us, we give you a bonus voucher for two teachers to do PD on using robots for engaging learning.
ü We know our products; we can show you how they contribute to engaging learning. There are some suppliers who sell a wide range of products, but who have limited knowledge of the products they sell. You want to deal with a supplier who can answer your questions. You want to deal with a supplier who can show you a product and explain the benefits in terms of engaging learning. We have an Education Specialist who is a former teacher and a practising Professional Development trainer. Our Education Specialist is able to look at the products we sell from the perspective of using them for engaging learning. We know the features of the products we supply. But that is just the starting point. More importantly, we know how the products we supply can be used effectively for engaging learning.
ü We offer you the opportunity to experience our products in a learning space setting. For many products, you want to be able to see it and touch it, gain first-hand experience, before making a buying decision. We conduct free tours of the RM REAL Centre in Melbourne. These ninety-minute tours offer you the opportunity to experience many of the products we sell in a learning space setting. Our tours are conducted by our Education Specialist, not by a salesperson. This allows you the opportunity for your staff to engage with our Education Specialist in discussion about learning, so that you get a real sense of how you would use the products you see to make learning engaging. Those schools who take one of these free tours typically find that the value in the experience is far greater than just a showroom visit.
